Nebuliser
Do you or your love one suffer from acute asthma?
Nebulisers are very effective in delivering asthma medications to infants and small children.
A Nebuliser is a machine that we use at Warrina Medical Centre to change liquid medication (Salbutamol) into a vapour that can be inhaled. It works by pumping pressurized air through the liquid to form a fine mist. This is the breathed in through a mask.
How long do the effects of Nebuliser last?
Most people start having relief from Wheezing and chest tightness within about 5 minutes and it's effects should last 4-6 hours. By this time, your regular medications should be effective in giving you relief.
